Damaged Parts Ordering for Johnson Controls International, Ltd.

This tool for ordering of parts that have been damaged during the manufacturing process, interchanged, or are missing provides immediate supply of such parts directly to the assembly line. The system operates in an Just-In-Time environment and supports use of production strategies.

An order into the warehouse is dispatched directly from assembly line by means of a touch screen terminal. Targeted picking and supply of parts by a warehouse worker with monitored reaction times in combination with notification about the arisen issue passed to the repairs shop

ahead of time via information system minimizes downtime and maximizes effectiveness of the whole production process.

Records of accomplished repairs and spare part claims monitoring are used to further control the claims process and for early detection of potential risks in the production process.
